Introduction

Welcome to the first question of my evaluation. On this page I will be listing the forms and conventions of the synth-pop genre. An the tabs at the top of the page, I will be going into more detail for each convention/form. 

The Forms & Conventions of The Synth-Pop Genre

  • Type of Music Video

Performance, Narrative or Concept

  • Mise-en-scene

Setting and Props, Costume, Hair and Makeup, Facial Expressions and body language, positioning of characters withing the frame and lighting.

  • Editing - Techniques we have used

  • Camera - Angles, Movement, Shots

  • Lighting - High key / Low Key

  • Sound - Digetic / Ambient etc

  • Iconography - Motifs etc
